Mark Nwadiuko is a driven and passionate Material Science and Engineering graduate student at Cornell University. Born with an innate curiosity about the world around him, Mark has dedicated his academic journey to exploring the fascinating field of materials for energy storage and conversion and its applications in various industries.

 

From a young age, Mark’s interest in environmental sustainability led him to participate in the NHS environmental beautification program, where he came to grips with the magnitude of the plastic waste problem. This enthusiasm continued to grow throughout high school, where he excelled in mathematics and physics courses, laying a solid foundation for his future studies.

 

At Cornell University, Mark's academic pursuits have been marked by outstanding performance and a thirst for knowledge. His coursework in material science and engineering has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the materials for energy storage and conversion and, therefore, a future career in the environmental sustainability space.
